Ministry of Forestry Boosts Pine Planting Efforts on Kadavu Island
The Ministry of Forestry is diligently advancing its pine planting operations on Kadavu Island, demonstrating a robust commitment to sustainable forestry practices.

Over the past two weeks, the Ministry has successfully planted a remarkable total of 8,600 pine seedlings at Mokoisa Village, which was led by Mr. Ilikena Toma, Ministry of Forestry’s Charge Hand for Kadavu.
This significant achievement highlights the Ministry's dedication to maintaining the island's forestry resources and promoting environmental sustainability.
The Ministry of Forestry is committed to ensuring that we not only harvest responsibly but also replant diligently.
The initiative underscores the Ministry’s dedication to sustainable forestry management, balancing the needs of current timber production with the imperative of future resource conservation.
