Government Supports Pine and Mahogany Industries with Annual Grants
The Ministry of Forestry, Fiji, on behalf of the Fiji Government has signed two annual grant agreements to support the Fiji Pine Trust and Fiji Mahogany Trust.
These grants aim to enhance the development and sustainability of the pine and mahogany industries, fostering the participation of local communities and ensuring good governance within these sectors.
The funding for the Fiji Pine Trust will focus on the development and restocking of harvested pine areas on maritime islands, promoting sustainable forestry practices.
